Real estate company SERGO is developing a 63-hectare site at Brandenburg Airport, relying on sustainable building designs. Particularly because of rising temperatures due to climate change and building densification, the planners are relying on the effects of natural cooling and air purification.

The challenge here was to find solutions that fit the lightweight hall construction with sandwich elements and yet can withstand the heavy loads caused by wind and snow of a façade greening.
